Bertha H. Nash, 91, formerly of 201 Rolling Road, Broomall, died February 23rd in St. Petersburg, Florida. She had been in failing health for several months. Bert was born on February 18, 1918, in Schenectady, New York to Benjamin F. and Paula Hartmann Schiek. She graduated from Lansdowne High School and worked for GE in Philadelphia before and during WWII where she met B. Richard L. Nash, Jr. who she married on October 12, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband, brother William Schiek and twin sister, Hildegarde Moore. Survivors include her son, B. Richard L. Nash, III of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter Beverly & Richard Garnet of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren Jonathan Garnet of Dover, Delaware, Jennifer Garnet of Richmond, Indiana, and Daniel and Laura Garnet and Great Grandson Benjamin Garnet of Mineola, New York; niece Paula and Jeff Amerman, nephews Dennis Moore, Robert and Mary Schiek, and Paul and Diane Schiek. Burial will be 1 PM, March 28th, in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor
