82, of Pinellas Park, Florida died February 4th, 2009 from various non-cancerous medical problems after a short stay at Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park. She was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she worked and resided for several years before she and her family moved to Florida. She remained in St. Petersburg for a few years before moving to Tallahassee, where she worked and resided several years before moving to Pinellas Park, where she passed away. She owned several animals over her lifetime and was especially devoted to dogs. She adopted a beautiful greyhound named Shane, whose ashes where placed in an urn on her bedroom dresser. She was daily supporting the cause of animals, both friends and strays. She will be sadly missed by her survivors who include a brother Larry Stawinski, of South Haven, Mississippi, a cousin Lillian Owen of Sterling Heights, Michigan, a stepson Charles Williams of Treasure Island, Florida, a stepdaughter Pamela Reeves of Largo, Florida, daughters Joleen Williams of Tallahassee, Florida and Joy Canterino, of Pennsylvania, several in-laws, many friends, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and best friend Joe Williams of St. Petersburg, Florida. Cremation was conducted by R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home & Crematory in St. Petersburg, Florida.
