Curiel, Hasminta passed away August 21, 2009 at Highland Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her loving daughter at her side. Hasminta was born in the Dominican Republic. She was a registered nurse and worked in the operating room both there and in Aruba, Netherlands. She moved to New York City in the 1950s, and in 1982 she moved to St. Petersburg, FL. where she worked at various nursing homes. She is survived by her loving daughter Ofelia E. Cedeno (Ofi) and her loving son John Curiel. Four grandchildren; Richard J. Cedeno, North Carolina, Christina Cedeno, Gainesville, Fl., Misty Curiel de Salazar, John E. Curiel, both from Texas. Five great-grandchildren: Mya Rae Baker, Colson J. Cedeno, Leticia Curiel, Mario Curiel, Laisha Salazar. Service and internment will be in St. Petersburg, Fl.
