Ismael "Smiley" Gerena

Ismael Gerena aka "Smiley", 72 of St. Petersburg died August 14th at Northside Hospital. Born in Rio Pierdras Puerto Rico, he moved to New Jersey and eventually settled here in Florida. He was a hard worker and very much loved by all. He is survived by his beautiful wife of over 41 years, Noemi; six children Raquel Black, Omar Gerena, Lisa Marti, Rebeca Gerena, Ismael Gerena Jr, and Ana Maritsa Gerena; and five grandchildren Joshua Perez, Chloe Perez, Nathan Perez, Victoria Marti, and Nigella Gerena.
