Gray, Mariannia (Nina) Antoinette after losing a brief battle with cancer, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 23, 2009 surrounded by her family at Bayfront Medical Center.Nina, as she was known to her family and friends was born in Charleston, West Virginia and moved to St. Petersburg when she was 12 years old. Her entire life was devoted to educating children. Mrs. Gray worked in the Pinellas County School System for 38 years as an educator finishing her career as an assistant principal at Lynch Elementary School. Nina was a devoted mother, grandmother sister, aunt, wife and friend. She was known as Nonna to her one year old grandon, who was the light of her life.
