Richard D.J. "DJ-Rich" Lujan

Richard Daniel James Lujan (aka DJ, & Rich), age 31, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, cause of death unknown/pending. He was born in Kingsville, Tx., the son of RMC Denise (Evans) Lujan Hanson USN/RET and Richard J. Lujan. DJ was a graduate of St Petersburg HS in 2008. He was an Army Veteran, serving five years mostly at Ft. Belvoir, Va. He was also a member in good standing of American Legion Post 14. He was very personable and caring with his friends, and co-workers, he will be missed by many. For the past 5 years he helped run the supply department at the Tropicana Stadium for the Rays. He loved the Rays baseball and Ferg's bar, he will miss all his friends and family, especially his children: Silas Lujan, 10 yrs and Vera Lujan, 12 months! DJ was very proud of his Yaqui Indian bloodline, from his fathers side, and had many tattoos that indicate that. DJ-Rich is survived by his son, Silas Lujan, of Manassas, Va. and Silas' mother Kristina Lujan; baby daughter, Vera Lujan of St. Petersburg, Fl, and Vera's mother Porscha Morgan; two siblings André Cruz Lujan of Hillsboro, Texas; Michelle Lee Korte of Highland, Ill., his parents, his grandma Janice Rothe and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by ALL! Celebration of Life will be January 29, 2022 at Amvets Post 1, 421 45th Ave S, St. Petersburg, Fl. 33705 from 1 to 4pm. Memorial at 2pm. Internment will be later at his brother's farm in Texas.
