Watson, Robert L. 82 passed away December 10, 2007. Born in Trenton, Fl. he moved here in 1951 from Gainesville where he graduated from the University of Florida with a Master Degree in education. He was founding member and first Pastor of N.W. Church of Christ where he was also an elder. Mr. Watson was a coach and and teacher at Lealman Jr. High School, he was guidance councilor at Dixie High School which he helped open and also Tyrone Jr. High School before becoming councilor at St. Petersburg Junior College from 1963 to 1984. Mr. Watson is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Inez; two daughters and their husbands: Janice and Randy Jordan, Philadelphia; Ginger and Chip Levick, St. Petersburg; his sister: Montye Page, Gainesville; five grandchildren: Mandy Jordan, Rob Jordan, Stephanie Levick, Tom and Leslie Levick Burket, and one great grandson: Trent Burket; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 6-8 P.M.
